In the classroom, she has consistently been on the Superintendent’s List, and has earned awards for academic excellence and achievement. She has earned the Shirley A. Ford Mathematics Award, FFA Star Greenhand, Clarkson University High School Leadership Award, the Rensselaer Polytechnic Honor Medal Award, the Bausch + Lomb Honorary Science Award from the University of Rochester, and has been honored as the Midstate Athletic Conference scholar-athlete, which is given to the top GPA on a given team. Lewis has also been named Sidney’s Senior Scholar for 2024.

Outside of the classroom, Lewis served as captain on the girls soccer team, and also participates in indoor and outdoor track and field. She’s a member of the National Honor Society and is president of the student council. She has also been part of the drama production as a stage manager, community band, jazz band, select choir, the flood monitoring club, SAAC, and Leadership Fellow of Alumni Association. Lewis is also a lifeguard, spends time tutoring, and is part of Teen Institute.

After high school, she plans to attend SUNY Binghamton and have a dual-major in biology and anthropology. She is the daughter of Kerrie Johnston and Chris Brantley.

Salutatorian

A well-rounded student, Neubert excels in the classroom, as well as on stage and on the fields.

A regular on the district’s Superintendent’s List, she’s also been recognized as a scholar-athlete on a regular basis. Academic awards include the Shirley A. Ford Mathematics Award and the RIT Computing Award.

A member of the National Honor Society and Tri-M Music Honor Society, where she serves as vice president in each, Neubert plays trumpet in the concert and jazz band. She was also selected to be part of area all-state in 2021 and 2022. She is also part of Sidney’s flood monitoring program.

Neubert also completed the Perry Initiative Program at the University of Rochester in 2022. This program inspires women to pursue careers in orthopedic surgery and engineering.

Athletically, she’s a member of the girls soccer team, where she served as speaking captain, as well as the indoor and outdoor track and field teams. She’s also part of Sidney’s badminton and table tennis clubs. Neubert was part of the indoor track 4x400 and 4x200 relay teams that set school records.
